      Hey good point actually, at least the sacrificial plane was a real “Air Force One” in its capabilities and defenses. Unlike the gold tchotchke plane. And I like thinking how uncomfortable the military plane probably was. The fact no attack happened suggests someone knew he wasn’t on the sacrificial plane. Hegseth probably texted a friend about it. Loser Bone Spurs showing his true cowardice.

            I saw a take that was just “he has no attention span, the only way to get him to care is to make it feel engaging and exciting”

            And thus the idea of the attack was crafted to get him re-invested in the war. To make him see it as important and not just an annoying thing he wants to go away. And… given that kegseth went with him… yah… feels like a stunt.

            I’m hearing two theories:-

            1. Israel said Iran is trying to kill him so he’d attack them even more.

            2. The Turkiye - Saudi Arabia - Pakistan bloc leaked this rumour to Egypt, either to humiliate Trump, or check if the Egyptian government is compromised / leaking secrets to the US.

            I guess we’ll never know.
