Actors arent inherently writers, its not really surprising or shameful to me.

I love Paul Darrow as Avon, but I’ve heard some pretty dismal things about the novel he wrote for his character’s family. And that’s okay, I’m not gonna knock him for trying. Same with Shatner.

It was amateur but readable so I wouldn’t say it was badly written. Someone probably had a hard time being his editor and staying objective
