In the liberal ideology, words are all empty signifiers that can be fit into two categories. “Bad” and “good”.
Genocide is, to them, not the state sanctioned ethnic cleansing of targeted groups, but just another word for “bad”.
The foundation of the liberal world view is to morally absolve yourself from benefiting from capitalism by publically signalling your moral purity, and condemning others for their perceived lack of morality through the “good” and “bad” categories.
That’s why debating people online is pointless. Libs already have most of their material needs covered in the current system and any criticism can only boil down to personal taste in manners and fidelity to the system.
