That’s a fun op. Redefine tankie to mean “far left that support violence” and then use that redefinition to create a crowd of people who claim to be left wing supporting Ukraine, opposing China, supporting everything that benefits the US agenda, etc etc.

What I think this speaks to is the fact it’s getting very hard to create fake sections of the marxist left that support american agenda these days. It has become ubiquitous among marxists that anti-imperialism is the primary contradiction, and because of that it has become extremely difficult to split marxists on anything at all. Even marxists that aren’t fans of Russia recognise its importance to AES and anti-imperialist projects globally.

There’s more unity among marxists these days than I think I’ve ever seen in my lifetime.
