    I wonder if a pi-hole would work on these? Replacing your refrigerator is not a small thing for most people.

      I would hope so.

      Though since it’s a Samsung fridge, an expensive, difficult to access control board will break down on its own eventually. Source: Own a Samsung (non-smart) fridge and have replaced an expensive, difficult to access control board despite knowing I should probably just get a different brand.

        I’m just surprised that the shelves lasted long enough that the board went first. I picked up two used - LG and Samsung - and the plastic shelves in both were well on their way to falling apart.

      If it is hard to replace something due to cost, perhaps do not spend obscene amounts of money on a luxury version?

        I’d rather punish Samsung for enshittifying refrigerators than punish regular people for wanting nice things.
