      Tbf I haven’t read the Bible either as a non-Christian. I just like to read about smth before I commit to it and idrc about metaphysics much to read a religious book

        Fair, but you’re not being hypocritical then! Folks who claim to believe what any given text says, should at least read it before claiming to agree with it.

        I grew up absolutely non religious. I went to church a couple of times, vecause i was bored. At some point i thought i should read the bible, because it had such a huge impact on people, and the church bible had some cool pictures in it. I didn’t got too far, what an absolute shit book. Knowing that people read or pretend to reqd it and believe it is frightening to say the least.
