Don’t even get me started on Panda Express. Americanized Chinese cuisine that’s been completely bastardized because most of us white people flip out over a single drop of hot sauce in their food.
what they hate is natural inconsistency. you cant have a hot sauce where the exact heat level depends on the specific farm the pepers came from, or changes with the years as different years produce different levels.
so it has to be mild peppers + industrially adjusted/calibrated levels of pure chemical heat.
