Having a large amount of my future determined by the whims of self interested billionaires is rough but like at least I can imagine them to be rational actors. Some of them just aren’t though. Peter Thiel has a perspective on the world so drastically removed from mine as to be nearly incomprehensible. I do not consider him to be rational and that is honestly far scarier than the bourgeois who knows exactly what they are doing and what their place is in society from a secular mechanical point of view. The idea that people like peter thiel can have that much power is intimidating. What an awful mistake it was to allow class struggle to progress to this point. If only we could have ended capitalism sooner

I would hazard an assumption that it isn’t even individuals. Every member of the class that has a public record is certifiably detached from reality.

    • Bryan Johnson keeps records of his son’s penis and steals his blood.
    • Marc Andreeson believes that introspection is bad.
    • Mark Zuckerberg appears to be doing his best impression of what he thinks a human being is like.
    • Jeff Bezos might actually be a reptilian
    • Elon Musk is so deeply preoccupied with his outward appearance that he has bought the title ‘founder’ for multiple companies, and paid people to play video games (which is also telling) on his behalf.
    • Kevin O’Leary sees nothing wrong in physical terms with building a singular artificial structure that is as large as a city. (I’m sure there are other examples for this fucko)

These are just a few off the top of my dome, but I can’t think of a single example where they seem like they have a single foot on the ground. They seem so detached that they believe that the laws of physics don’t apply to them

Bill Gates was asked by an interviewer if there were any lessons he’d learned after his association with Epstein. He started fidgeting like a kid that had their hand in the cookie jar and said “Well he’s dead, so there’s that.”

Steve Jobs did not shower and started a vegan diet because he was convinced it would make him not smell and tried organic herbs or whatever to treat his cancer which is I suppose is the least detrimental to the world.
