To me that reads like my three year old declaring that I like to “eat poop” while I have to make sure he doesn’t wipe his poopy butt on the diaper changing station. On reflection our current big topic is insults and hurting others with words in general so I think I just automatically go into a parental “lets name our emotions” mode and don’t take it seriously at all. Which is not helpful to you I realise, sorry.
Being a parent and guiding a new human to discover their emotions and handle them really teaches one to handle ones own. Because they will absolutely drag it out of you, which is good because they need to see what happens when they push past boundaries in a safe environemnt, but holy shit can it be draining. No way was I this emotionally mature three years ago.
He really does I asked him whate he ate that made his poops smell especially offensive today and without batting an eye this kid tells me he ate “stinky powder” to make his poops more stinky
