Yeah, it’s a show about dysfunctional people wallowing in filth while stuck in a doom spiral but before things get really bad.
But also they’re a pretty good portrayal of “what if cats were people?” with how they act.
It’s pretty gross if you don’t like poop, puke, etc. First episode, especially uncensored, has an
spoiler
explicit diarrhea explosion direct from the main cat into a toilet.
It looked kind of funny but that first episode was enough to put me off from watching more. I don’t smoke though, they don’t gotta convince me.
I need to check this out since I can super relate. Outside of my years binge drinking, I was a chronic cig smoker. Going so far as to smoke used butts off the ground during times of great emotional stress. It was not glamorous. I still haven’t quit nicotine, as I went from just under a pack a day, to vaping for a year and a half, now down to lose dose nic pouches. I consider that progress since I’m not killing my lungs and upping my lung cancer chance. All the while my dad now is dying from lung cancer he has from smoking.
Anywho, anime romanticizes smoking, and from what I gather smoking is a big problem over in japan.
I still need to get on the pouch wave again. It’s so much healthier than smoking, and a week of just pouches no cigs makes a huge difference in my lung function
Yeah I don’t even find smoking cigs or vaping appealing anymore, just thinking about it makes my lungs hurt.
