The read-the-characters-in-page function (not OCR) works splendid with some pages but in others it scrambles everything

yeah this regularly infuriates me
for some reason it is absolutely terrible at getting focus
Sometimes it perfectly catches weird hand brush caligraphy with contour effects and sometimes it can’t read fucking heiti font
I’ve had a lot of success with Tesseract and gemma4 31b
