So long story short I got woken up this morning by my dad who needed help getting his cat in the carrier for her grooming appt. Fine whatever. While I’m doing it he lays into me about being lazy and awful and about how when he dies (which he said is soon) he wants my brother and sister to sell the house and leave me homeless. Great, wonderful, thanks dad.
So I will get some of his money via inheritance but I’m totally in the dark about renting places. Can I get a place with no proof of income but like proof of what’s in my bank acct. and that I can make payments for a little bit? Say I’d be able to put like a year’s worth of rent upfront? Does that work?
Did not want to talk about or think about this today but yet again I’m at the whims of my stupid fucking father.
If you can pay up front I think that would be enough to entice a landlord to sign something with you but I think that would put you in a bad position if there’s some issue with the place and you need your money back
I assume your siblings… would do all that? They can’t be convinced to like, not? :/
