I use noai.duckduckgo.com on desktop but for some reason Firefox Focus doesn’t allow for that on mobile.

You can turn it off in settings.
But the duckduckgo settings get reset whenever I quit the app, that’s the point of Firefox Focus.

Which I do on desktop, but Firefox Focus doesn’t accept it as a valid default browser lol. Maybe the solution is just changing apps I guess

I don’t know about Fennec, I just use Focus because it does what I want out of a simple browser for one-time searches.
Makes sense. Well fennec is a bit closer to desktop Firefox, so you can install extensions like ublock, or switch your default search to one of noai/html/lite duckduckgo
