What causes these “free parking” type of delusions? Where they see something on the street and assume it must be a personal attack against them. It reminds me a lot of gangstalking paranoia, are they just so obsessed with playing the victim that it has become a delusion as well as obsession?

It really reminds me of a kid back in primary school who, for several years, thought anyone that happened to be laughing or talking at a volume he couldn’t hear when he was walking past were laughing or at him or talking about him and would try and start a fight or have a meltdown. While being physically larger than basically everyone else (he was the largest non-Samoan/Tongan kid). Turns out it was issues at home, who could have guessed.

Luckily the school offered help. If he grew up without regularly seeing a counsellor, I could easily see him becoming someone who would scrawl on a pet’s wanted poster because of a perceived slight.

I also saw him eat a whole McDonald’s cheeseburger in 1 bite. That was also very notable to a 12 year old.
