Animals should not be used for radical transgender experiments.
This is not science. This is ideological cruelty paid for by the American taxpayers.
Our TRANS MICE Act ends it. No federal funds may be used to conduct, support, or fund research aimed at altering an animal’s biological sex.
No hormones. No surgeries. No taxpayer dollars spent mutilating animals in the name of transgender ideology.
This legislation brings accountability, ends taxpayer-funded cruelty, and ensures science serves the public, not ideology.
Note: Some people are responding and saying “Lol you’re so ignorant, obviously they’re talking about trans GENIC mice, lol you don’t even know science”, and while I’m sure Nancy Mace doesn’t know the difference, this would specifically ban testing anything that could be construed as gender affirming or relating to gender affirming care on mice, and the Trump administration has specifically suspended funding for testing of trans healthcare on mice.
I could have sworn there was some intensely interesting research that had a very clear use case.
Couldn’t find what I was talking about with why they started. But it was testosterone exposure which is totally fertility related with implications for IVF, PCOS, prostate+breast cancer, etc. Not to mention the RFK Jr.'s of the world should love learning about testosterone for TRT shit.
