Oh wow, just in time to take full advantage of the strong, enduring socioeconomic ties between these two friendly nations. I’m so glad they dedicated over five billion dollars and spent sixteen years tearing up the vulnerable (literally endangered) local ecosystem to build this; I’m sure it will benefit me greatly.

It’s a bridge owned by Canada that undercuts a US billionaire owned bridge. It’s a win in my book. And you know what’s worse for the environment? Continuing to feed a warmongering economy down south.

I’m sorry, you’re saying the biggest benefit of this endeavour is that it “undercuts” a single wealthy USAmerican family who still owns an international crossing anyway? Wow, that’s so worth the nearly two decades of destruction in globally threatened habitats and enough funding to support the dwindling social welfare programs that this fucking hellsite country is actually able to operate. Real fuckin one-two to the American economy by building a cheaper trade-route for them while investing more than ever in the fossil fuel industry they single-handedly maintain. Huge fuckin “win.”

This is about as good of a joke as the Bridge.
