The center is much more to the right than we would like. Not because it is halfway between left and right, but because the left has so little representation.
Social democrats voted for this, there’s even a couple of Greens who voted for this. The only ones who voted against completely as a bloc were The Left (Well, there was an abstention/Absentee there, but I don’t know the story)
