Auto-translate feels like releasing invasive species into Japan. I saw a Japanese threatening a Russian by pirating Dostoevsky, only for the Russian to reply with a pirate site and some book recommendations. They have no natural defenses against these people. RIP the ecosystem.

Where’d did you obtain your knowledge?(genuine question not inherent doubt)
I saw it in a video. I failed to find it, but I’ll resume searching later because it was interesting. You could see an english-speaking person buying DVDs from a kiosk, then reviewing their haul and giving tidbits like studios logos being removed, or movies being subbed instead of using the ROK dub if available.
Not the video I’m talking about, but similar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y28hbXI9cpY
Here you can see a man buying animated movies from a kiosk, with many Disney movies displayed.
Yes, sometimes North Korea also makes their own dubs of Animated movies and shows, most of the time it’s based on the South Korean Dub and theres not a lot of change. I think a few years ago the Shrek movies North Korean Dub got leaked online, also Disney seems to be very popular in North Korea. Also North Korean Studios do some times work on Western animated shows and Japanese Animes too, we just don’t know too much about it because of the US sanctions.
