My partner JUST got all her shit in and we haven’t even unpacked it all yet. Luckily, losses are pretty minimal, and the landlord is ignorant enough of what everyones rights are here (were not, we’ve already talked to city tenant groups and lawyers) that we got him to agree to terminate our lease and give us financial support to help get a new place.

Only shitty thing is my partner has to navigate this before I fuck off to go in tour, so we’re seeing some spaces today, and then theyre on their own starting Saturday. So, the plan is to use what rights we can to get enough from the landlords to not only cover some rent whatever new place, but also enough to afford movers.
