      He had personal beef with the creator of the website, that’s why. Which is so funny that they put him up there as being one of the most infamous “Liberals” of all time because he made some blog posts about how stupid Conservapedia is.

        I remember it. The libs on the site “rationalwiki” were doing the same thing at the time. PZ Meyers actually kinda played a role in my radicalization, which is really embarassing to admit.

          Mine too, then I learned some people aren’t atheists because they care about being correct and understanding the world around them, they’re atheists because it lets them compare themselves favourably to the dumbest people on the planet.

            He wasn’t that rung for me. That was christopher hitchens. A completely vile and disgusting bigot who nevertheless introduced me to the idea that the nebulous “left” might actually be good. Reading Meyers’ blog actually got me on the right socially progressive path following Elevatorgate. Marxism-leninism came about 7 years later.
