How you do that, considering the material conditions that currently exist? I have no idea. How you convince the gulf monarchies to sign on to that process, when they’re currently happy to use Israel to further their own domestic agendas? How do you do this without it turning into yet another genocide? How do you convince the average western cracker to turn against Zionism without it turning into straight-up anti-Semitism? How do you get the millions of Christian zionists to give up their apocalyptic agenda? How do you get a rabidly islamophobic West to treat brown people like human beings?
I don’t know how you fix this problem. All I know is that it’s going to get worse, before there is any chance of it ever getting better.
Ok? I’m not blaming the ussr or the ddr for this at all. But they didn’t succeed even at the time. The Nazis succeeded in just surviving long enough underground until they were free to surface again and the east was and remains their biggest stronghold.
This might sound bad but it really doesn’t take too much brainwashing or indoctrination for a relatively normal person to support genocide. Group dynamics can make normal people otherwise capable of empathy go along with absurd evil. Israeli society currently needs its people to be the absolute worst version of themselves to continue existing, it needs everyone to reaffirm each other’s ideology of racial supremacy and their views of Palestinians as subhumans.
I don’t think Israeli society can be rehabilitated as a whole, but if you were to reintegrate them into a society not currently in a state of genocidal psychosis, they’d probably just be “normal” racist assholes like everywhere else in the West. Some of them would probably be libs, even. To clarify, this is not to absolve anyone of guilt or responsibility, I just think you don’t think you have to be brainwashed or a psychopath to commit horrific acts of evil.

No amount of denazification of a region can be magically permanent, especially when said region is ruled by nazism from elsewhere.
