Ok so the loophole goes the 22nd amendment only mentions being elected president, not serving as a limit. So the theory is you can get 4 terms out of a strong P/VP if they reverse the ticket. The guy pretending to be president does have to resign in that case though.
But technically you can do the above shuffle, then, if you have the house votes, elect the “president” to speaker of the house. Once he resigns, leaving the P spot open for the real president to scoot in, as speaker of the house he’s automatically next in line for VP via succession.
You get keep that going for awhile actually, if you loop in a third party.


Another loophole is there’s nothing to stop ammendments to the constitution, including an ammendment that makes it easier and faster to pass ammendments. They could pass a law making it easier for congress to ammend the constitution, ammend it to say the president can now sign ammendments into law without state or congressional approval through executive orders, then Trump just writes an EO to make him president for life with the ability to appoint his successor.
