Agreed that it’s 100% morally acceptable. I’ll go one step further and say there is the moral imperative to do so.

But although I would agree we’re seeing gestapo like tactics here, they are not literal nazis. And that’s not to downplay their reprehensible behavior, only to say “literal” and “nazi” have meanings, and these aren’t quite it.

the politics of this administration clearly fall under Neo-Nazism ICE is an enforcement arm of this administration, hence they support the administration and fall under the same label

I’m really not sure why you would think that they can not be classified as Nazis

I stand behind my use of the term literal Nazis

Do you think Nazis arrive in fancy dress, worn by grotesques and monsters as played out in endless re-runs?

          ICE is a neo-nazi organisation.

Neo-Nazi individuals and organizations employ their ideology to promote what they perceive as the racial or ethnic supremacy (often White supremacy) of their own group; to incite or engage in hatred or discrimination against demographic minorities (often antisemitism and Islamophobia); and, in some cases, to establish a fascist state (e.g., “Fourth Reich”).[1][2]

In colloquial conversation that is a Nazi. Of course they’re not Germans from the 1930/40s, you’d have to be an extremely obtuse pedant to be arguing that.

No argument from me in colloquially calling ICE Nazis.

The person to whom I was was replying called them “literal Nazis.”
