Fully agree. But as long as the conversation is about porn too many people will ignore the identity theft / fraud risks to and side with prudishness (for lack of a better term). Especially leaders who stand to benefit from such mechanisms. We need to make it clear this bill puts Canadians in harms way and it will be deeply unpopular.
there is no world where ID verification on the internet for porn will ever be used for anything except government and corporate blackmail.
