the “king” thing is really stupid. nobody thinks he’s a monarchist. but leave it to libs to fetishize roman republicanism so hard they can’t say “no dictators/no tyrants” because that might be too critical of this botched system and how much undemocratic political power has managed to accumulate into the executive.
