This really is going to become lib consensus isn’t it? The idea that people could be pissed off enough about the US hurtling into open loud and proud fascism to actually do something about it pisses them off like crazy. They can’t pretend like their brunch sit in is “sticking it to Trump” when people are actually fighting his brownshirts in the streets. So they have to find some way to dismiss it, blaming Russia is the quickest, easiest way for them to do that.
Is there need for a liberal consensus anymore? Seems like info-silos and blueAnon and stuff let people both cut off information they don’t like and simultaneously believe a bunch of contradictory things.
They need something to smugly nod their heads too over brunch with each other though.
