So my take

is that boneless chicken wings are in all ways superior to normal chicken wings.

vegetarian take

Firm tofu is hands down better than all other forms of tofu, tempeh, etc.

And mash potatoes on pizza isn’t actually that bad. Just make it a proper pureé instead of smooshing up a baked potato with a spoon and calling it a day.

    My take is that as long as you enjoy your food I don’t care how you eat it. Put pineapple on your pizza or make a banana and mayo sandwich or whatever weird shit you want if you like it eat it I don’t really care. Folks get real bent outta shape with the “how dare you enjoy food the way you want to” takes it’s stupid. Eat it how you wanna eat it

      I blocked a user i usually like interacting because they got really weirdly belligerent about me saying using doritos for nachos isn’t all that weird because it’s literally a chili lime flavored tortilla chip anyway and then they sicced the mods on me for misgendering because I was just like “ok, guy” chomsky-yes-honey FYI y’all for the record everyone my “ok, guy” was not meant to be an attack on their they them pronouns and i feel like that shoulda been obvious

        “ok, guy” is like calling everyone dude. Don’t. Unless they’re a dude or a guy or tell you it’s okay. Otherwise it’s misgendering even if you don’t mean it as such. They correctly sicced the mods on you and it doesn’t seem like you’ve learned from it so hopefully this time you do. If someone doesn’t want to be referred to by a gender don’t refer to them as similarly gendered words either it’s actually extremely easy and unambiguous.

        Although you are correct about Doritos for nachos I do that all the time

          It was very clearly an exasperated non-response to debate bro-ism over something stupid and making it out like im making a bigoted statement on their gender for it is wack and Im resentful of the implication that I meant something harmful by it. Especially when THEY were getting weird and belligerent towards me. Over chips.

          On that note ive never seen anyone accused of misgendering for accusations of debate broism

            Getting a post removed for misgendering isn’t an attack on you it’s a protection for the person being misgendered. One of my trans enby comrades is AMAB and the amount of times they have had their day ruined because someone said “thank you sir” or “hey dude” or whatever is honestly surprising to me but those words are something they want to distance themselves from and even if it’s not meant as an attack on them it hurts them when it happens. Intent doesn’t matter, your impact does. I’ve learned to fiercely protect them and all the other comrades in my life as a result because there’s just no reason for people to be hurting them like that even accidentally.

            Honestly I’ve had posts removed for misgendering by accident too it doesn’t mean I’m some raging bigot it just meant I was careless, someone else had to clean it up for me, and I need to do better next time.

            It’s not about you. Just do better that’s all anyone is asking.
