Even when I didn’t understand what isntreal was doing back then, I knew blowing up hospitals because “terrorist are hiding in them” sounded insane. I assumed they were empty/evacuated because no reasonable person would thinking blowing up an occupied hospital because “terrorists” are hiding in them is a good solution.
