To me, this seems like just a way to get people to like Reagan more. Nobody who reads this and then gets told “actually, this is ho chi minh” is gonna be like “wow, I’ve judged communism too harshly”.
When I was much younger I liked to troll my folks and family on Facebook by posting Bible quotes with Karl Marx’s face, to bait them into telling me how “dangerous” this kind of thinking was.
This is like some kind of meme judo, using the motion and momentum of your opponent against them.
Reagan doesn’t look like the type of guy who would say that even if you know nothing about him
But still it’s a genius idea
I dunno, it’s kind of a pipeline into Reagan for those who aren’t knowledgable.
Better to do it with someone who isn’t problematic but also liked by chuds
