How is this uplifting news? It says nearly. 🙃
Well, they were able to lift it back up.
I’m gonna be honest, I think the “someone I don’t like had something bad happen” stories being posted here are getting tired. We get it, celebrities suck. But I subscribed to this community because I want actual uplifting news, not snarky posts that would be better-suited to a comment in the original thread.
I totally agree. Go hate somewhere else, we have more than enough communities for that. If you find that uplifting, get a shrink. This community needs rules and moderators.
It’s amazing how many people think people like you need a shrink.
Are you by any chance a privileged person that does not yet feel the hell our planet is slowly becoming?
I am a privileged person who was taught how to read. For instance, this community is
a dedicated space where optimism and positivity converge to bring you the most heartening and inspiring stories from around the world. We strive to curate and share content that lights up your day, invigorates your spirit, and inspires you to spread positivity in your own way.
As I said, this isn’t heartening or inspiring, even for you. The issue is that hate will not fix the problems that bother you, so if you want to take the higher moral ground, do something useful about it. Spreading hate toward certain groups of people only makes you hateful and miserable.
Feeling the hell the planet is becoming doesn’t mean feeling pleasure at the (near) deaths of people.
I agree. I’m subscribed to these communities to try to help my mental state, and these kinds of posts just fuel spite and hatred which I think only makes me worse in reality.
had 32 people on board … featuring a seating capacity of 12 … the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission is investigating the cause of the incident
🤔
They don’t mean they don’t know, they’re just saying whose job it is to report to insurance.
So close!
So … hot air doesn’t float … that’s a thesis right there.
We should create a “LostLemmings” community.
!lostposters@lemmy.dbzer0.com created one just in case :p (i know you said lemmings, but piefed/mbin are getting more popular and deserve some love too :D)
