I don’t know if it’s off the mark or something but does it feel weird seeing talks about the Indian and Pakistan escalation specifically thinking because they’re nuclear powers, they’re going to use their nukes. I don’t keep up with war technology, but I’m sure only the white man used nukes. Not all world powers are as bloodthirsty as the west.
Nukes will be off the table until it’s a question of the other country is seen as an existential threat. Like if either of them decides to do full-on genocide or complete eradication of the other’s government, WMDs will be the only way to survive.
I don’t think either country, even with their chud nationalists, is willing to take things that far. It’s more like they’re hoping for an excuse for them to carpet bomb a city or blow up a lot of military hardware, then reverting to the status quo.
The countries are next to each other, so I assume they wouldn’t want to deal with nuclear waste on their door step, they share waterways they’d poison each others wells.
