The EX30 was the 3rd best selling electric vehicle in Europe in January–November 2024, only behind the Tesla Model Y and Model 3, previous CleanTechnica Car of the Year winners in their debut seasons. In November, the Skoda Enyaq and Volkswagen ID.4 were also higher than the EX30, while right behind the EX30 was the Volkswagen ID.7 in 6th place. As you can see, the ID.7 came in second in the CleanTechnica Car of the Year voting in Europe. That said, it wasn’t close, as the #2 ID.7 and #3 BYD Seal combined had the same vote share as the EX30.

I wish it had an instrument gauge. I’m all for huge screens, but keep the speedometer and other gauges directly in front of the driver. It supposedly also has tight legroom in the second row. Other than that, it seems to be a pretty nice compact EV.

I used to think the same but after going without one for a while, I don’t miss.

The biggest advantage is that during the Summer, the air vents blow on my face instead of on the back of my hands.

Yeah. People should be paying attention on the road anyway and not on the speedometer/console. I have the habit of glancing at my console for no good reason and have been trying to break that habit. Something like the EX30 may actually help with that

I refuse to buy a car without the speed right in front of me. I had an old Saturn that had everything in the center and I hated it.
