    I doubt you would get a replacement battery now. But, you could try if you do not want to upgrade to a new one

      I tried replacing the battery, but the “new” battery was just as bad.

      The problem is that these batteries were just stored somewhere for years, probably in not ideal conditions.

        What phone is this? Are the batteries from the official service center or 3rd party repair service/site?

          Samsung.

          I don’t know which battery it is since it was 3rd party, but as much as I have read people have the same experience either way.

          (supposedly it’s an original battery)
