I wonder if this is the very first time Kamala Harris has done any fundraising this election cycle, or if it’s just the world’s laziest attempt to put two “events” in confluence with each other in the headline so as to create a narrative and an excuse to write this week’s 500th story on this topic

Actually I admit I am not wondering that with any real uncertainty

She has visited NC 15 times. Twice in two weeks. We are considered a battleground state. Apparently Nancy Pelosi was here last night fundraising. It’s a nothing story.

It’s absolutely just an opportunity for juxtapositional inference.

AOC made a good point about early voting forms going out in September. If the DNC nominated Harris today she’d have eight weeks to campaign.

It’s time for Democrats to get their shit together and unify against the common enemy instead of arguing with the person sitting next to them.

8 is enough. Get her out there. If the ramses mummy runs and loses I don’t want to hear anything out of any of you

The point is that eight weeks is not enough time to fundraise for a new campaign, so Harris is the only option since she can use existing campaign funds. I’d agree with you if she were polling any better than Biden.
