They assume there will never be an interruption to any systems at all.

Not the cryogenic system or the monetary system.

What if the country they put the money away on fails and the currency it is in effectively becomes worthless?

So much is based on assumptions of things working out perfectly. A future with no wars or instability or energy issues or failures of systems of government and that science plows forward with nothing holding it back. A fool’s dream.

I’d be more worried about getting unthawed in a world spinning out of control in climate change so that spending money on freezing rich people’s heads will quickly become obviously a waste of resources and those resources will be re-assigned. The rich will be effectively dead so they aren’t unthawing themselves to bring a lawsuit to keep their heads frozen. No lawyer is going to sign up to save the savings of a dead person who didn’t actually sign on for your representation, because there is no gaurantee they can or will pay.

The whole thing is just fuckstupid and honestly shows how little imagination or adherence to reality these idiots have.

I’m just some dumb fuck and I dreamed up scenarios in which this would fail in under five minutes. If some idiot like me can put it together, that means these people are criminally stupid and out of touch with reality.
