Russian President Vladimir Putin promised Friday to "immediately" order a ceasefire in Ukraine and start negotiations if Kyiv began withdrawing troops from the four regions annexed by Moscow in 2022 and renounced plans to join NATO. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy rejected what he called an ultimatum by Putin to surrender more territory.
Why because they’re the only one not suggesting “Russia should abaondon their two year long successful military operataion because that’s what I, a whiny American liberal, want.”
It has been very successful from a high-level strategic point of view. It caused Western powers to use a number of their financial nuclear options, to little to no effect. It has strained military productive capacity in those same powers, which they’re currently trying to turn into a new wave of militarization, but this runs counter to the fact that they are now heavily deindustrialized and the same forces that deindustrialized their countries are now in charge. The Russian economy has actually improved, particularly with investments in productive capacity. Russia has effectively annexed the Donbas region and is destroying UA’s military capacity, largely based on Soviet stockpiles, fascist shock troops, and increasingly weary conscripts.
It’s not Russia’s original strategic goal but it’s going pretty well for them.

you are looking at things from a very weird angle. none of that is remotely true
Most of what I said is just basic facts anyone can confirm, e.g. banning Russia from SWIFT.
Can you tell me what, in particular, is false?
I suppose easily verifiable reality probably would seem like a “weird angle” when you’re not used to ever seeing it.
I could but you have no intention of listening and I have no intention of wasting my time
