How fucking big did this dudes arms get in one year? I’m calling bullshit.

If this is actually real I would suggest using interpersonal relationship skills and ask these hordes of women to stop touching your biceps yourself. Given that anon is a green texter, he may be lacking in this department.

Lol I’m not saying this is definitely real, but it’s completely plausible that an otherwise socially competent person freezes up when someone grabs them wantonly and unwantedly. And I fully believe that someone who would do that in the first place would also not stop when they’re told no.

You’re both skipping over consent; if the genders were reversed, would you consider it normal for men to touch women however they want until they’re told to stop?

I responded to the person above me implying that OP should end the grabbing with interpersonal skills alone. Obviously no one should be grabbed without consent in the first place.

Paraphrasing the person you responded to: “Don’t talk to HR/sue, use your interpersonal skills to stop the problem” You: “Could be that anon is too socially inept to say something”

Your response makes sense in context, all I’m saying is keep your eye on the ball; the actual problem here is consent and so if these hypothetical women are breaking it they should feel the consequences like men would.

First of all, unless this dude works at a strip club, I very highly doubt random coworkers are coming up and grabbing his biceps.

I would buy this story more if it was a single female who continued to do this, but this just doesn’t add up.

Secondly, if a woman’s biceps were being grabbed by a man, I’d have no idea what the fuck was going on.

This story is fake as shit and ya’ll are treating it like it’s a case study.

No, we just treat it at face value, knowing little of the real situation.

And reality is, men ARE abused and harrassed by women, and it’s much harder for them to speak out about it. Which makes it even more important not to distrust these stories straight from the start - they get their dose of distrust and victimblaming everywhere else.

You’re assuming that they didn’t tell that person to not touch them. They didn’t mention it, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

There’s not enough information from the OP to have reasonable knowledge of the events to say either way.

It’s wild how we all forgot ON DAY ONE what the whole point of 4chan was, which was that since there is no barrier to entry, no identity, then you as the viewer are supposed to wonder what’s real or not, but always have to assume anything said is false, even if it’s tantalizing. It’s a game, you’re not supposed to take anything seriously there… and yet the place has impacted international politics repeatedly.

If you do it during puberty, there aren’t even much in the way of risks. I went from 4’1" tall and 230 lbs, to 5’6" tall and 145 lbs in one year by joining the swim team. Never got jacked, but I can still bench 200 lbs without any real effort or training in my 40s.

Yeah, my growth spurt was painful.

I’m sure it’s somewhat genetically based (according to 23andme I have ‘elite athletic musculature’) but I’m close to maxed out after a year of serious natty weight lifting if my goal is to actually look fit. I could get further and go the power lifter route by eating 5 rotisseries chickens daily and washing them down with bean juice.

US courts are absolutely sexist. They are so damn sexist that the sexual disparity in sentences completely nullifies the racist disparity. I’m not joking either. It is well known that all things being equal, a black woman will get an average of 60% of the sentence a white man will get for the same crime. Meanwhile a white woman will get, on average, a sentence that is roughly 60-70% of what the black woman gets, and the white man may get a mere 50% of the punishment a black man gets.

Court is both racist and sexist, and in the US they won’t allow you to sue them. The sexism and racism only gets more pronounced in civil court and family court.

I know this is probably fake, but, I’ve heard way too many horror stories about hr like this.

HR is there to protect the company from you. When you’re being harassed at work, during work hours, talking to HR is basically saying “I know I can turn this into a legal thing, but I’ll give you a chance to correct it before I do that”.

If HR laughs at you about a complaint, your next steps are to collect evidence and hire a lawyer.

Sue the shit out of them.

I don’t think that’s legal to do, however, having the evidence before hand is a good idea regardless of the likelihood of being dismissed for making the complaint.

Evidence is always something you should have.

Had some woman full-on grab my male arse in my old job when I was bent over doing a task. My colleague (female) saw it and marched after her letting her know that wasnt acceptable. Another member of staff kept constantly going on about my bike shorts and legs and everything inbetween… she was about 20 years older than me.

People here say this green text is fake. It may well be, but from experience it also may not.

It’s really not uncommon, women can ignore your bounderies too and when they do they are usually especially overt about it because they often don’t realize they are doing anything wrong. A lot of my friends are body builders and it 100% happens. Every single one of them has been touched without their consent
