I stumbled over this today. Apparently it was inspired by listening to his most recent analyst earnings call.

    That’s pretty unfair.

Elizabeth Holmes straight up lied about a product that couldn’t possibly do what she claimed, and intentionally kept lying about it.

Elon Musk lied about so many products I can’t event count them all.

Easy. He classifies his lies by his company:

      • Tesla: FSD, Cybertruck, Semi, Optimus and the spandex dancing man, solar shingles, solar farm, thermonuclear explosion proof glass, bullet proof chassis, battery-swap, range under full charge, share value, etc
      • Boring Company: Hyperloop, Not a flamethrower, Vegas loop, pods, tunnel bricks, etc
      • SpaceX: Martian colony, surface to surface starship, in-orbit refueling (to get to moon), in-situ methane production on Mars, etc
      • Neuralink: Telepathy, Brain backup
      • Twitter: Free speech
      • Musk himself: His net worth, The man who knows more about manufacturing than anyone else alive

    Lolol same exact thing 🤣

Elon hypes the shit out of them and misses a lot.

But the model 3, and now especially the next gen is a fantastic car.

    Theranos was straight up fraud.

    • The Model 3 is an overpriced, shoddily-assembled car. The only reason it’s the “affordable” one is because of the huge amount of tax incentives E-vehicles get. If you had to pay the actual cost of a Model 3 you would not be calling it a “fantastic car”.

I know it’s hard for the Tesla cultists to accept, rather like the Apple cultists before them, but Tesla products are not good products for the price.

You clearly haven’t seen the new ones. The quality gap is minimal, the next gen interior is much more in line with its competition.

It finally made consumer reports good buy.

Likewise, it must be hard for the Musk haters (and anti Apple people!) to accept it when Tesla (or Apple) make a good product at good value. I live in Australia and get no discount to the price of the car and call it good value.

I’m pretty sure the other states have similar incentives [as Adelaide!]

Now look up Victoria. They have an extra tax to stop EV owners from dodging the excise on petrol

Where I am we have free registration for two years and the ability to drive in HOV lanes, which is a couple of hundred dollars of benefit

Australia is a Federation. Each state, and to some extent the two mainland territories, sets its own rules to a large extent. We have no federal incentives on EVs

Nice of you to accuse me of lying without looking for more than 15 seconds, arsehole
