The legislation would update a 27-year-old state law to create three new classes of electric bikes based on the type of motor and how fast they can go.

Anyone 16 or older can use any e-bike.

Bill isn’t that bad. Restricts kids from using stronger e-bikes.

  It restricts them from using all e-bikes, even low speed ones which are not very dangerous.
  
  Young people deserve transportation access too.
