You could try using Gamescope to contain the game. I’m on Sway and some full screen games can confuse it on multiple monitors, this usually fixes it.

I almost exclusively run PBTA games nowadays because of this. And if the players are totally inexperienced we’ll run a one-pager like Lasers and Feelings or Honey Heist first.

Rules just bog down the play speed too much unless everyone is an expert, paying attention, AND not drunk, which is basically never.

I’m in a red district in SoCal and my mom, a disability rights advocate and civil rights lawyer, tried to run for office a few times over the last couple of decades. Each time the only thing any of the Democratic Party reps we talked to cared about was how many rich people we knew and how many donations we could gather. Once they recognized she didn’t have connections to money, all support was pulled.

Not to say that people shouldn’t try. But not only do you need the time and ability to run for office, unless you have a LOT of money it’s very difficult to even get a foot in the door.
