I second Cyberpunk, ray tracing enabled or not. That game truly captures a realistic dystopian world in the best way possible.
Been using Krita for a long while, and I love it. Fantastic alternative to Photoshop and other art programs and image editors.
From the earth I rise, and to the earth I one day will return.
Absolutely gorgeous. Love it.
Thunder gets regular updates and is open source and ad free.
Symphony is my go to music app, but there are plenty of others out there, both FOSS and not. Retro Music Player also works great.
I’m dualbooting as well, but only because a few games I play aren’t supported on Linux due to their anticheat. Namely Fortnite and Destiny 2. I’d completely switch if that wasn’t the case. Hopefully someday.
Every new Linux user counts!
Haha, that’d be funny if this was the meaning.
The Smashing Pumpkins are my favorite band of all time. They have so much fantastic music, new and old. They are also incredible live. Glad to see so many still appreciate them, even on a platform as niche as Lemmy.
And Playlet if you use a Roku or Roku TV 😉
Salt Lake City area, actually. Pretty far from Seattle. Peaches is the only song I know off the top of my head though.
Someone doesn’t like 90’s Alt Rock.
I’m early Gen Z and I know this song lmao. It played here and there on the local alternative rock radio stations.
I’ll Call You Mine is another great one by her.
I did at one point, but it’s ultimately a waste of money, considering Revolt (a much smaller, donation funded chat platform) gives you most of the worthwhile features for free. I’ve been on Discord for almost 7 years and I could never justify buying nitro again. But, if Revolt isn’t your thing, or is just too small, Matrix is a very good alternative.
Proton Drive is what I use. The mobile (Android) app is a little buggy but it gets the job done.
I second this. Animals is such a fantastic album.
