I think it’s smart from a lateral industrial development perspective (not the bundle of sticks every-industry-interest-at-war method that leads to infini-financialization) because it will be easier for “developing” (love the term grammatically but politically it is very fraught, moving on~) partner states to build out their EV & battery factories without worrying about scarcity. Industrial development is very powerful anti-corruption strategy, you can’t just create additional risks for the corrupt in areas that truly lack opportunities. More factories = better political system to work with + more stability meaning easier skill transfer (nobody wants to get kidnapped bruh)

This is cool I haven’t done a ton of research into the active & passive suppression systems, but they can get really extensive

They are way way safer to transport good to mention that, but unfortunately they do still have a violent explosion risk when charged.

This is a big selling point for solid-state batteries other than charge rate btw no flammable electrolyte
