You’re mistaken. Shark skin is known for its smoothness when rubbed from any angle.
Fat32 doesn’t support regular file permissions either, right? I was under the impression that it was permissionless.
Don’t Apple’s chips have specific hardware support to make Rosetta 2 as effective as it is? I’ve been really hoping other manufacturers find a way to do something similar.
I don’t think this would be as good as you think, because we can’t “unknow” what we know today. The obvious one is giving up all the social progress we’ve made since then. Also, imagine knowing about climate change and being surrounded by people who either don’t know or are worried about it but don’t have the science we have today to understand the issue. All the nightmares we have today will still happen, but you’re trapped in the past knowing it all and not being able to do anything about it.
You could technically get around most software license agreements, but companies don’t do that en masse because they’d risk legal action against them.

The law requires that schools hang up “In God We Trust” signs, but I don’t believe it requires them to hang up every sign that is donated to them.
I think it’s the second one. We’re all temporary in a sense!
