  • Giving you the benefit of doubt here.

“/s” technically means “this comment is sarcastic in nature”. But also commonly used with bad jokes and puns as well, indicating that this is indeed nonsense, and I’m aware of it, but I decided to say it anyway.

The previous comment was just a bad and cliche joke that is common in internet forums, referencing the “Skynet” from the “Terminator” movie series.

“I hope this message finds you well”, is a marker I have been using to detect GPT replies. Looks like this is from ChatGPT.

Also it says “BLOB feature” and “BLOB functionality”. What in the coconut does that mean? “BLOB feature is an important aspect for our app.” Come on…

It’s really pathetic that they didn’t even try to read it at least once.

  • It’s not traditional. Also it’s not similar to the pic. It was invented in the 1970s by a French Chef. The technique involves “vacuum sealed” ingredients, ensuring there is no air between the ingredient and water. Water is kept at a constant temperature, much lower than usual cooking temperature, and the ingredients are cooked for a very long time.

End result is an evenly cooked ingredient with full moisture content. But there won’t be any browning (Maillard reaction), which is key in many recipes.

AFAIK it is just a form of elitism, where they argue applied science exists only because theoretical scientists “did” something. Like you are just using someone’s stuff.

Another thing is theoretical science “indicates” advancement of science, where the applied side is just growth in sideways.
