- Aware of Tiananmen Square
- Able to acknowledge it as a tragedy
- Fully allowed to share that information

Sometimes I wonder if these kinds of views could be addressed with them simply meeting a nonbinary person?
I typically just call myself queer as opposed to nonbinary but I’m an amab on E for 4 years. I dress in comfortable clothing (usually an oversized mens shirt with whatever jeans or leggings I have). Fuck, I don’t even shave regularly these days and I still get hit with fem identifiers whenever I go out. Surely I’d be “trans enough” for this person right?
If her line is just supporting needs, then she’d still be supporting my ability to get hormones right? She’d still be supporting the needs of nonbinary people who choose to get gender-affirming surgeries right? At that point, it just seems like a pointless gatekeep. “Oh you don’t need any kind of medical treatment? Fuck you!” Huh? Why? What does this accomplish?
Much appreciated comrade.
So honestly? I found the article to be somewhat sound. Despite my own personal gripes with everything bad being described as “deviation from maoism” or “trotskyism” and the rap stuff, I think they articulated their points well enough. I know as a Hoxha stan im supposed to declare ideological warfare with Maoists or some crap like that, but this was okay. Long winded and a bit cringe, but still fine. I’ve not read the other side of this though so maybe everything in this was a huge fabricated lie. I’ll gladly waste hours of my time reading whatever people send me if that is the case.
I’m willing to hear them out, and I’m still reading, but jesus christ:
“Unfortunately for the (New) Communist Party of Canada, their recently published “(N)CPC-CC Reply to the OCR’s ‘Red Salute’” lacks the substance and swagger of those battle rap classics. Politically, it somehow manages to combine the pathetic posturing heard on J. Cole’s Might Delete Later with the unearned arrogance of Drake’s “Family Matters” in a sad attempt to attack the Organization of Communist Revolutionaries and the politics of the journal kites.”
Edit: Oh god the whole article has rap quotes whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Headphone amps: exist
“Maoism is the only true continuation of Marxism leninism!”
“NOOO ITS NOT! HOXHAISM IS!!!”
Audiophile cope in the comments is hilarious. A $30 pair of IEMs plugged into a 7 year old flagship phone is high enough quality that most people won’t want anything crazier the rest of their life. A $150 pair of over ear headphones plugged into a cheap DAC from AliExpress is good enough to achieve full fidelity for anyone.
I can’t wait until one of you nerds tries to tell me you can tell the difference between a flac and a 256kbps AAC file too.
What did you say?
If only this was true. I don’t see any emphasis on masking in any of the big communist parties rn.
At this rate, randos are gonna have to spend hours at a time analyzing if a single meme posted on the internet is AI, just to accomplish absolutely nothing.
Looks good OP.
I mean, lib’d up activism aside, this is probably one of the better pieces of AI art I’ve seen. I absolutely would not have noticed had you not pointed it out, and even then, I’m still not entirely sure.
Was skeptical of the source at first, but they do seem to have some useful information here. Thank you!
no worries comrade, I appreciate the help

This goes hard.
He did more than that. He showed an alleged victim that claimed their passport was taken away when interviewed by western media, and then shortly afterwards was interviewed by Chinese media saying the exact opposite. He also showed a site full of alleged victims that in his mind “had nothing to gain” (although imo, that’s an error on his part. Always something to gain)
Still, whats so hard to understand about people being skeptical? People are seeing China use its state power in ways similar to other countries, and naturally, assume China is abusing that power…like other countries.
I’ve never been particularly charitable towards China like my peers seem to be, or any AES country for that matter. So ya know, disclaimer of bias. Im still being far, far more charitable than I would be if you told me a western nation was doing this. China is supposed to be the better country, that doesn’t mean they are in every case.
Anyways, if it’s just for extremists, fine. That’s still something i can’t fully verify with my current level of knowledge.
(edit: This comment on the OG post was helpful in easing some of my reservations if others are at all curious. https://hexbear.net/post/4982712/6169175 )
Do you happen to have an article discussing this talking point that I can read up on?
Im not really sure what instance to switch to. Lemmy.zip maybe? I just want to be able to interact with as many people as possible (until I’m banned or blocked ofc).
