My advice if you want something with changing some habits that is pretty good Graphine OS would be a good option. I’ve been running for close to 3 months at this point I think. If you run the right apps it can be decently private and isn’t a huge inconvenience.

It’s really down to how much time you have and how inconvenientced you want to be. Generally the more secure something is the less convenient it can be. I find Graphine with FOSS apps and other secure services to fit what I want and need.

I totally get the anger with Netflix. I fucking hate them as a filmmaker. But I really don’t think a long term solution is pirating content.

Is it more expensive? Of course it is, that’s part of an equitable society. Also it means you end up with content you really like and not a bunch of junk.

To be fair it will be about as gental as it’s terminal volocity. Which is hard but like not that bad.

Also to be fair I feel like YouTube has a large amount of deadish Internet content or just content that can’t exist in a landscape that doesn’t reward getting clicks (think Mr. Beast and similar).

As an American it’s another reason why I think we should be barred from hosting world sporting events. Also why the Olympics should be moved. The US is not to be trusted.

I can’t say Grayhound is the kind of company I thought would be making public statements about this. I am very happy and if they ran less inconvenient service (from my town busses to places I want to go leave at ungodly hours). I would love to support them

We all know pee goes on the floor. But the poops must go in the toilet. This makes the separation much easier.

I also don’t trust Microsoft to keep it turned off. Even if it is truly off (really hard to tell) what’s to say it doesn’t turn back on in an update. I want an OS I can trust.

Think that pisses me off the most is how you can’t uninstall it. First of all, I don’t even really need a mail app on my computer. If I do, I’ll install one I actually want to use.

If they ever make this a standard feature in all TVs and make it where I can’t just disconnect it from the internet, I will be using old TVs for the rest of my life.

My TV is there to display a visual output. It does not and should not do anything else.

Funny you say that. I despise Nord VPN and consider them HIGHLY unethical. Also they aren’t truly private because they want a bunch of infromation when signing up.

Any VPN that I see a lot of ads for and other content for makes them come off as sketchy.

TBH, if you just use a decent VPN (thats truly private) then this doesn’t matter. Which is something you should be doing anyways.
