I was laughing so hard in my bed at night that I was genuinely wondering if I’d gone crazy.
Not sure why I found it so funny at the time. Maybe I was a bit tired too.

As far back as the Wii, people were able to run hombrew pretty quickly.
I think Nintendo just sucks at console security or maybe they are a bigger target due to their exclusives.
neon_nova@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Games@lemmy.world•Nintendo reserves the right to brick your console following "unauthorised use", in bid to prevent piracyEnglish26·28 days agoThe problem is when a new game is released that requires an update to a later firmware version.
I think I’ve had it before where the updates applied to the system from the game card.
Unless I misunderstood what was happening. We will have to wait for someone to figure that out.
I’m rooting for someone to home brew the switch 2 ASAP

Like, how much more natural can you get?
Whatever that little thing laying on the rock would fuck me up.

It happens in email, mastodon, etc.
It’s just that touch screens can be imprecise and sometimes downvotes are just people operating their phones without realizing it.

Other times I’m holding my phone without locking it and accidentally click things.
I’m guessing this happens to other people too.

Does it do the same thing whether you are in WiFi or cellular data?
You can check the dns settings to make sure they are set to automatic or manually set them to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Those are Google dns servers.
If neither option work, I’d be concerned that your data is being funneled through a vpn without your knowledge.
You might be able to check that by searching “what is my ip address” and use whatever website shows it. Write down what you see and then do it on the cellular connection. The ip address should be different.
If it is the same on both, then you might have your data going through a vpn located in Miami.
Please feel free to message me directly about either of these things.

But I do not want to have to switch boxes to hold Pokémon on the PC or have limited storage for held items.
I wouldn’t mind a 2d version, but maybe they could draw inspiration from the Zelda 2d remakes.

I saw snickers flavored instant coffee or coffee grinds.
Also where I live, we have “hard” mountain dew and sprite.
It sounds like the worst hangover.
