That’s pretty normal. Like, less than sigma.

Calculus, Motherfucker! Do you speak it?!
oFCoURsE! And the dot at the end with no file type extension? Also intentional.
stOcHaStIC-l33t-CasE FTW yizzo.
Did you watch or read The Fellowship of the Ring?
Sorry, all I’ve got is a pass gas from my ass trick. Smells like grass I swear.
And CPD: Chronic Procrastination Disorder
Fucking work for once you piece of fuck. Fuck this day. Fuck this shit. Fuck this degree. Fuck.
Organized religion has always been about control.
Same kinda happens in industry, too.
Intern: 12 shitty slides. No appendix. Mumbles through the entire pres.
Jr/Associate: 47 immaculate slides, full appendix, 30 minutes to present, runs short on time, skips half of them and the audience fell asleep 20 minutes ago.
Senior: 10 slides, good enough but not pretty; too busy being technical for pretty slides. Serves the dessert first because that’s what we’re fuckin’ here for, the meat and potatos are there afterwards but we probably won’t have time for it because of Q&A. 30 appendix slides and ready for any question including “when is the heat death of the universe?”
Tech lead/director: 100 slides, 2 or 3 at the front called executive summary, agenda, recommendations; 2 more slides to back it up and introduce the team/rest of the presenters, and 95 other slides ready to go for whatever, spliced together from like 30 other slide decks they have for every occasion.
CTO: I don’t have slides. I have a spreadsheet; but I need you all to tell me the numbers. Here we go.
I work for a large enterprise and build ML model monitoring pipelines fairly frequently—this will be a more in depth but similar use case to what you’re asking.
We use Grafana (visualization) and Prometheus (timeseries db)—they’re built for this use case exactly. Tons of info out there on how to build, configure, connect to your sensors, and deploy it.
Had me in the first half, not gonna lie.
Right, cool. Been with you since the beginning, it’s been a minute since I read that. Thanks for the refresher.
Happy hacking.
The techno-mages that spent their lives in exile, running from the mega corps—and which FISH is the last of, and she’s their last hope, last student… did I get that right?
Tough spot to be in. Being a mage or a mage’s apprentice is not an easy life.
That’s implying there was good docs to start with. Who has time to write those??
How many layers deep in StackOverflow has she dived if she’s now resorting to reading the FAQ? Dayum. Shit’s rough, yo.
Frankly I’m amazed I even got as much of that right as I did. It’s been more than 20 years since I took a chemistry class—a lot of them—but still. It’s been a minute.
Mg is an alkaline earth metal, not an alkali metal. :). Still have zero desire whatsoever to eat elemental Mg.
But I did say s-block didn’t I. That’s on me, I set the bar too low.
No, you’re thinking of a dead lach. A deadlock is an anti folk music pioneer—not really dead yet though he claims to be dead inside.
Can’t find Saddam.
