Of course he never likes to remember that he was spreading conspiracy theories about Harris, or calling Trump “the devil [he knew].” He just knows he’s watching his crypto gains vanish into thin air.

I mean, obviously it’s evil and they’re evil. But did they seriously never consider that they might fuck it up at some point and have to try to take someone back? They’re denying people due process, of course they were going to fuck it up at some point. That’s kind of the point of what they’re doing, is carrying out injustice. Then again, what do they care for morality? And when the king commands it, is it really illegal?

No no, look what they did with Sun.

Could Elon Musk’s Starlink Be Doing the Same?English02·25 days agoFor decades the American left has been, on the whole, anti-firearms. There simply are not enough of us who own and train with guns. If/when a civil war happens we lose. And that’s before you start taking into account drones and surveillance. People keep making fun of the 2A but seem to conveniently forget that damn near half the electorate just ceded the power of arms to the other half out of fear.
I don’t have a PhD but I do hate light pollution. And while I’m too lazy to look up a source, I can offer an explanation, at least for one effect. Shitty outdoor lighting produces a lot of glare. Meaning if you’re on a path that is lit with very bright lights, especially if you can see the bulb directly, your eyes won’t adapt to the lower light and anything in shadow becomes invisible. Pools of darkness in brightly lit areas are a terrific place to hide.
Anecdotally, problem people are also afraid of the dark. There’s a park near my house that serves as a shortcut between two streets. It has two paths. One is a brightly lit paved walkway next to the baseball diamonds, and the other is an unlit service road. I usually take the unlit path because glare tends to give me headaches. I have seen more sketchy shit happen on the brightly lit path from afar than I have ever seen on the dark path.

Please don’t insult slime mold by comparing it to Elon Musk.
So this is how I find out gimp 3 was released
There have been times in my life when I would be insecure as well, but with some hindsight I realize that if someone really was going to be an asshole to me in a moment like that, it says a lot more about them than it does me. I lose more by being guarded than by being open. I do remember those times, and my heart hurts for anyone who’s going through the same thing.
The question was rhetorical. You’re a catch. It’s okay to be shy but allowing yourself to be vulnerable is how you find the people who are worth your time.

I never said nothing should be done, I’m just trying to explain why nobody has started an armed insurrection. The people you have heard about who are stockpiling guns are conservatives. There you go. There is your answer.
Bait for what? Perhaps I am simply old, but why is it so unthinkable that a girl would think you are cute?

They won because they have billions of dollars backing them and their rivals are ineffectual, not because they are crazy.

ebolapie@lemmy.worldto politics @lemmy.world•Sanders and AOC tell packed arena Trump is ‘screwing over’ working class1·1 month agoRight wingers hoard guns. I have been saying for a solid fucking decade that if the left isn’t armed we’re helpless. There’s the SRA and JBGC, but a major part of the democratic platform has been “we’re gonna take your guns” since before I was born. I might go out in a blaze of glory if the brownshirts bring war to my doorstep, but I’m not picking a suicidal fight on my own.
ETA: and yes, the Democrats aren’t left wing. But they are the leftmost viable party we have. And they have been anti-gun for decades. Which means they tend to not own guns and they tend to not organize militias.
