I believe you’re right, most of the comments I see (this includes haSSan piKKKer btw) are “wow he’s finished, I don’t think his campaign can weather this” and not “what a disgusting piece of shit I regret having ever supported the guy”. And it’s very clearly because they were already not just prepared to look past everything, but already in full
